Looking at the Premier League we have to wonder what wil be the fortune of the managers who have weight of expectations on their shoulders. In this day and age the word overachieve only applies if you are outside of the elite six teams in the country.
 
So let's take a gander at the possible fortunes of Messrs Ferguson, Villas -boas, Wenger, Rednapp and Mancini.
 
At the beginning of the season who would believe by the end of January both Manchester clubs would be out of both domestic cups and out of the champions league to boot!!!
 
The reality Footy fans is that one of these teams could easily end up being called the Manchester Bra! (Er....all support and no cups!)
 
It has to be said that there is more pressure on Roberto Mancini to produce than Sir Alf. Ferguson has been there so many times and can easily be forgiven. As for his cross town counterpart, this is his sophomore year so there can e no excuses at the end of the year. He's had the time to build and gel the team he wants with a bottomless wallet. A season that promised so much five months ago is in danger of going sour fast in the blue half of Manchester. Some people may cry that the likes of Tevez and Banotelli are a distraction but with so many highly paid egos to deal with that's an unacceptable excuse. 
 
At Stamford Bridge their only realistic chance of silverware is in the FA Cup however the biggest challenge facing them now is holding on to the very important and financial beneficial fourth Champions League spot where failure to achieve that in Moneybags Abramovic's eyes is a one way ticket to the unemployment line. My belief is he needs at least another year considering he inherited an ageing squad. 
 
Trophyless since 2005 speaks volume for the plight of Arsene Wenger. For years the Arsenal hierarchy have been patient feeling that better days are around the corner in the team that the Frenchman has been trying to build however missing out on the Champions League for the first time in fifteen tries is starting to become more of a reality than a possibility. Don't be surprised if the call for change becomes a scream. 
 
Then you have the most humble man of all who I definitely have to tip my hat to. Harry Redknapp has slowly transformed his Spurs team from a group of also rans into a silent challenger. He didn't have the millions to splash as did his rivals but astute in his spending he definately was.

The end of the season believe it or not is just over three months away and something tells me that one of these gentlemen will be out of a job come seasons end.
